Summary: They were the rescue corps. They could save anyone, anywhere in the universe, regardless of the danger. Just as they've done for 98 generations prior.
Shepherd could lead her team through this newly discovered planet, existing at the edge of the universe and which follows its own rules. She could lead them through its unique dangers and horrors. She could lead them back together and save every stranded castaway on the planet.
She could. She had no other choice. They all just wanted to come home.
A fanfic I've been working on for a bit but that's also FAR from done. Basic premise is that, instead of the self-insert rookie being the main character, Shepherd is. I also may or may not break the planet and characters in a few more fun ways :3
The fanfic is both illustrated and uses a work skin. I've put a lot of work into it! So I hope everyone gets something out of it ^^
